Terms of Use — Calico Connect and the Calico Client Portal

These terms apply when you use the Calico Connect app or the client portal run by Calico Construction Inc., 10518A Connecticut Ave, Suite 2, Kensington, MD 20895 (build@calicoinc.com, (703) 870-8019). The app itself is also covered by Apple's standard license agreement.

1. Who can use it. You must be 18 or older and use it for yourself or for the business you represent. New member accounts are approved by Calico.
2. Your account. Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account; tell us right away if you think someone else is using it.
3. Bookings are requests. A service or repair booking is a request for the day and time you prefer. It's confirmed only when Calico confirms it.
4. Quotes and prices. To ask for a quote, upload your plans (PDF or photos) or email them to build@calicoinc.com. Our team reviews them and replies within 2 business days; there is no instant or automatic price. Any price we give is an estimate based on the information provided. It becomes binding only when Calico confirms it in writing or in a signed contract, and the work is governed by that contract.
5. Payments. Payments for our work are made as agreed in your contract. We never sell anything inside the app.
6. What you upload. You keep ownership of your photos, plans and documents. You allow Calico to use them only to provide our services to you. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share.
7. Fair use. Don't misuse the service: no attempts to access other people's information, break security, or overload the system.
8. Availability. We work to keep the service running but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. For urgent problems, call us.
9. Ending your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete account). We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
10. Limits of liability. To the extent the law allows, Calico isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the app or portal. Nothing here limits what your signed contract with us says about the work.
11. Maryland law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
12. Changes. We may update these terms; we'll post the new version with a new date and tell you in the app if the change matters.
